How is your
self-esteem
right now? Did you know that paying attention to self-esteem is the first step for those who wish to lose weight in a healthy and definitive way? This was one of the first lessons I learned and I am always stressing this with mentors, students and followers. You have to trust yourself to move into a new phase of life. See more!
What is self-esteem?
In short, self-esteem is an individual’s subjective evaluation of himself as being intrinsically positive or negative to some degree. Self-esteem involves both self-meaning beliefs and associated self-meaning emotions. It also finds expression in behavior.
It is the way you see yourself, feel and perceive your position in the world. It is the first step in your weight loss process, because you have to cultivate self-love and self-respect, putting yourself first, in order to get results.
Why is it important to take care of yourself in the first place?
Everything is a matter of priority. If you want to change your body and your health, you have to prioritize yourself. And many times this process starts by waking up earlier and having a self-care routine, understanding that you deserve healthier foods to be able to deflate your body, that you deserve to have time for yourself – to take care of yourself with more affection, that you need to be attentive to your needs – physical, psychological, emotional, etc., understanding that love for you needs to be above criticism and comparisons.
When you are the reason so much effort is put into the weight loss process, everything will become easier and worth it! You can’t change your life by putting yourself second.
How to have more self-esteem?
There are many ways you can boost your self-esteem. In time, you will find your ways. Beforehand, I leave you with a few tips:
- Focus on self-care: have a routine to take care of your needs. Take a leisurely shower, take care of the hydration of your skin and hair, take care of your nails. Make your beauty ritual a date with yourself.
- Do everything in your own time. No matter how hard it may be to have love for yourself, keep going.
- Trust yourself. You have everything you need to get what you want.
- Take a few moments every day to meditate, visualize a new reality, and get in touch with your personal truth.
- Prioritize the things that you enjoy doing in your routine.
- Give your body foods that really nourish without adding weight. You deserve healthy food.
- Disconnect from criticism and comparisons this month. You will see great results!
- Have a weight loss goal, but have small weekly goals. Celebrate the small results!
- Review all areas of your life. Change your habits, remove people and tasks that no longer make sense in your daily life, establish what needs to be done in order for you to achieve your results.
- Hydrate yourself! There is no way to love yourself without giving your body the minimum it needs.
- Stay away from stress and toxic relationships. You deserve the best people around you.
- Cut your hair! A new cut can be a rite of passage to a new phase.
How can the Nelma Jones Method help?
The Noelma Jones Method is a mentoring program that I created so that more people can lose weight in a healthy way, permanently, recovering inner strength and re-establishing their self-esteem during the process. For me, it was very difficult to lose weight. I had to learn how to do it, what to eat, how to exercise to get results, and how to organize my life in order to change it, without any help initially.
In this way, I want to offer people better weight loss conditions through my expertise, without them having to go through difficulties, by getting to the point. The program lasts 8 months and is available in English and Portuguese with the following advantages: support groups, biweekly program and individual assistance, exclusive content, and much more. Guarantee your place in this link!
